1970s          Became involved with horses and was a member of pony clubs

Competed in gymkhanas and social riding

1975           Scotland – Rode Cross Country competitions in Northern Scotland

1977           Darwin - Show Jumping – established Northern Territory junior and senior 6 Bar record at the Darwin Show

1990s          Endurance riding within ACT/NSW

1994                            Joint Army civilian expedition –

Walked across the Great Sandy Desert with 15 camels in recognition of Colonel Warburton’s expedition 120 years earlier – total of 860km

1995 - 98        Worked and travelled throughout the Northern Territory including station work

2001           Five day ride Mansfield Snowy Mountains
